I don't know where to begin,it will probably take me several
e-mails to put it all down-40 years is a long time.
I graduated from American University in 1963 but not as I
expected in International relations but in business. Served
in the USArmy reserves. Got my graduate degree from CCNY in
Finance & Investments.
Went to Wall St first with the FRB NY then as a Investment Analyst with several firms and finally found my calling in Internationally Money Markets. You know, the guys you see on tv screaming on two phones at the same time-that's what I did. Perfect for my personality-I got paid for being nuts for 20 years.
But let me back up. I married my college sweetheart, divorced
after 10 years. Then found my present (and last) wife. We have
been married for 22 years and couldn't be happier. We initially
met in NYC and then moved to San Francisco in 1986 where she is
from originally. We live right in the City and have always enjoyed
the city-life.
We have traveled extensively and own a condo on Maui for 15
years. In 1990 I walked away from Wall St and felt strongly
about giving something back to the community. Thru non-profit
volunteering and working I have worked at/with the SF Zoo &
the SF/ SPCA for 15 years.
Now I spilt my time still volunteering and working with my old
college roommate doing Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of
Conventions.Pay is good and the gigs are only for 3 days at a time
maybe 10 times a year. Additionally, I work during the last three
months of the year doing Health Fairs for Insurance Companies.
Keeps me busy, and I see a lot of Northern California.
I have been blessed throughout my life by good friends and people
who have helped me through the rough spots we all go through.
